Family 'starter' camping setup?

    Can anyone recommend local shops or websites that might be a good place to source a starter camping setup for a family of 3 (2 adults, 1 infant)? I don't expect we'll be 'heavy' users - so we don't need top of the line. But a waterproof tent might be a nice start...
