Tile Paint

Has anyone ever painted their tiles.
We bought a house and the bathrooms needs updating but we aren't going to be able to afford to do it for a couple of years so a friend of ours recommended to pain the tiles.

Anyone have any experience of doing this and what was the end result.
In one of the bathrooms the tiles are peach and the other bright blue and cream.
Any other advice as to what could update the bathroom without costing a fortune.

Have used tile paint a few times and end result was fine. Or else you could remove a few tiles in each bathroom and add a different colour and this will help tone down the other tile colours and very cost effective.
