    Hi

Just looking to know what peoples experiences are in terms of dealing with cuts. I havn't had any to work with yet (thankfully) but to be honest I wouldnt really know what to do in the situation

    - is there any experienced cutmen in irish mma?
    - who is the best cutman in ireland?
    - experiences on the use of Adrenaline, thrombin and avetin?
    - tips/videos/resources ?
    - would people be interested in organising some sort of seminar on it?

    Thanks

Paddy Byrne used to be one of the most respected cutsmen in the world and has travelled extensively he was in such demand.

However, he has retired, but it would be interesting to see if someone could contact him and maybe meet up for advice.

BTW he's the same Paddy Byrne that used to be involved with the Irish soccer team during Jack Charlton's era.

funny you should mention it because I am in the process of applying for my cornermans licence and may even try my hand at being a cutsman. Much easier to learn over here of course.

There is a good article about mis/use of adrenaline in this months Ring magazine.
