The money is a small bit better and i have a good releationship with my boss!

However i recently applied for an apprenticeship and after an aptitude test, Interview im now going for a medical!
Should i tell my current boss now or wait until after medical to be certain im leaving! i know il pass the medical but nothing is 100%.
I know he is going to take it bad as i was only promoted a number of weeks ago!
How should i break it to him, Iv no experience in this!

Don't count you chickens just yet, wait until you are offered the job in writing.

Just tell him its being great working for him but the job is not for you and that your changing career.

He's probably not going to be happy anyway but he'll be a little happier if you tell the truth.
