I have two pictures, i want to put a small copy of one of the pictures into the other. I've tried messing around with MS Paint but not having much luck. Anybody got any suggestions?

MS Paint is rubbish. Use GIMP, Paint.net or Sumo Paint - all free and Sumo is an online app.

You can do it on paint by opening the image you want to insert onto the other and resizing it to the required dimensions. The press Ctrl+A to select and Ctrl+C to copy. Then open the other image and press Ctrl+V to past the smaller image over it.
Alternatively you can do this in Word as well. When you add the second imame right click and in the layout preoperties select 'in front of text'. This will allow you to move it on top if the big image.
