    Anyone out there got any idea of the planned route and distances for the upcoming Roundwood grandprix??

    Same route as the Christy McManus Memorial, and last years Roundwood GP

    Start at the Filterbeds, will post details on braywheelers.com over the next few days.

    Roundwood GP – Sat 21st August 2010 – host club Bray Wheelers Cycling Club
    Race HQ for sign on: Roundwood GAA Hall, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow

    Underage
    Start time: 10am for U12s, U14s and U16s
    Sign on from 9.00am to 9.30am

    Senior A3, A4, Ladies and Juniors
    Start time: 12noon
    Sign on from 10.30 to 11.30am

    Course
    Start/finish is in centre of straight on filter beds, beside lakes near Roundwood.
    Course is 12km approx. From Start/finish, circuit goes anti-clockwise, to Diamond Hill, then to Tomriland crossroads, then to Annagowlan, then to Ballyduff Cross, through Knockfadda, and left after Knockfadda to start/finish. Course is used as Bray Wheelers Club Championship circuit, and has been used as the Christy McManus Memorial race for last few years.

    Laps
    U12s: Out and back course on filter beds, distance, 2.5km approx
    U14s: Three quarters of a lap, 9km approx
    U16s: 2 laps, 24km approx
    Seniors: 5 laps, 60km
