My Honda 350 is having engine problems at the moment. It's starting ok but when I press on the throttle it dies. Its like its an air intake problem. I took out the filter and there is a smell of petrol from it. Anyone any ideas what the problem would be?

maybe its not gettin enough fuel..?? dirty fuel filter maybe? maybe ya got dirty petrol some where.

or like ya mentioned a dirty air filter, air filter should be changed/cleaned reguarly!
