    Hi all


    Any one know how long it takes to walk up Tara Hill from the parking point?

    If its the parking point where I'm thinking ( parking for maybe 3 cars and a sign saying potatoes for sale) it takes about 40 mins.

    This is along the track that we take but there are longer treks up. The view is fantastic up there and you can see Wales on a clear day (never saw it myself!!)

    Also theres a bench halfway on a rocky outcrop with a great view of Ballymoney side of the hill.

    One more thing - Wear wellington boots !!

    Usually need boots but its been dry for a while so it should be ok

    Do you know how to get onto the hill

    About 10 mins on the little road with two strips of tar and then on the left there is a gate with a coillte sign with a walk through beside the gate. In there !!
