What do people think of the song? I think it's great! Not unlike Sam's Town era.

Only heard this twice, but still thumbs down from me. Don't like it in the least.

Maybe I need to actually listen to it with out the video ?

The point of going solo is to experiment with different sounds, go in a new direction, Brandon Flowers has stayed firmly rooted in his comfort zone. There is absolutely no difference between crossfire and any other generic Killers song.

Listened to the Album for the first time today and have to say it is fairly good, getting into it alot tbh.

Given the album a good listen and it's not bad. Maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10. Not too far removed from The Killers but that was to be expected.

Crossfire really is a fantastic song though.

Really do think its identical to his stuff with the killers so dont see the point in him going solo when he's just gonna produce the exact same thing as he does with the killers

Apparently the rest of the Killers are all tied up for the year with families and stuff so he was forced to go solo for the year. He'll be back with them next year.
