    Hello,
I am 18 and I don't have LC or any similar level education.
So I was wondering where in dublin could I study for LC? Places that pay allowance preferred because I am really low on funds and won't be able to live 2 years at fulltime studying.

If more info is needed, just ask.

    Thanks.

the institute of education are brilliant. (lower leeson street)
theyve a mix of irish and international students, and the best teachers and notes ever!
also they've great guidance councelors that'll spend ages with you trying to work out what you should do with your life.

    that's the pros

    now for the cons

to do 6th year (which covers the entire syllabus) it's €8,000
for the two years i think it's €15,000
i dont know of any funds available cos its a private school

Contact the department of education, i'm sure they'd be better than anyone on this

    :)

VEC stands for Vocational Education Committee. They are the government/state providers of education.
For Dublin, it's the http://www.cdvec.ie/ and the County Dublin VEC.

Talk to the people in Pearse College, Crumlin (CDVEC). They specialise in adult Leaving Cert. classes and they will also be best placed to advise you if you are entitled to any financial support.
