Second hand iphone wanted on meteor

    Hi I want to get a second hand iphone for meteor...

    It is a good idea?
    Will it unlock ok?
    Will it be personalised a lot from the previous owner and will I not be able to change it back?
    Will pay as you go work with it?

    Yes it's a good idea. Should be unlocked already, they wipe clean once synced to a new iTunes account plus the person selling should restore to factory setting before selling.

    It's the cheapest alternative

    Will it unlock ok?
    Yes, once you get the phone (unless it's factory unlocked) you will be able to jailbreak it and unlock it [a very simple operation at the moment]

     Will it be personalised a lot from the previous owner and will I not be able to change it back?
    You can set the iPhone up as a new phone, so all settings will be restored to factory condition.

    Will pay as you go work with it?
    Yes PAYG will work with it but make sure you get a data addon if you plan on using 3G as without one you are charged through the roof.
