    Hi

I have a Samsung American style fridge model RSH1.

Its causing me a few problem at the moment, does anyone know where i can access a free service manual for it ?

The problem is commonly reported on line
Faults: Water not dispensing, but ice will
Freezer works ok, but fridge does not work.

I have removed the internal panel in the fridge and removed Ice that had built up causing the fan to stop, and causing all the problems.

But this has not solved anything :(

Lower down there is what looks like a plastic radiator, i dunno if i should disconnect this as well and defrost it or empty it if it is full of water/ice.

any ideas? before i start buying spare parts

simple soloution is to plug it out and defrost it for 24 hours. This is an ongoing problem with Samsung and its costing them millions. You are covered for tis repair. They have to fit a modified back panel to the fridge(which may not even work!) Dont start removing parts from the fridge as this will void your warranty if the engineer sees it.
Seriously best advice is just put it back together and call Samsung.
That little plastic radiator is the evaporater.Iwouldnt advise you touch it unless you know what you are doing. They are delicate enough and if it gets pierced you are in big trouble!

it seems to be working fine again,

There was about 2litres of ice behind the panel, i dont think it all would have defrosted in 24hrs

i know thats it a common fault with samsung R21 and RSH1 fridges and its only a matter of time before ice buids up again.

At least i'll know exactly what to do next time

I'm still waiting to hear back from samsung, when teh engineer comes out, i'll just say that i defrosted the fridge over the weekend
