IPod Touch Battery Life

I was wondering if anyone knew of anyway to improve the battery of my IPod Touch? There has been a great decrease in it's life in recent days, I only get a couple of hours out of it if I'm using the internet now.

Replace the battery by buying a cheap one off eBay.
