Young Ho Lee tells the story of the 77-day occupation and fight against lay-offs at Korean Auto factory

Maybe you should have done this at dell?

Well in a way Dell leaving their version of a strike.

If the Dell workers had stage a sit in Dell would be still gone.

Completely unrelated as the Korean company went bankrupt and the banks took over.
Dell made the decision to move it's manufacturing to Poland as it
    a) energy costs were significantly lower than Ireland
    b) labour costs were significantly lower than Ireland
    c) They got a nice payoff from the Polish Government..

Maybe instead of suggesting that the workers should have staged a strike you should have suggested they upskilled during their time at dell (dell paid for external courses) and that the Irish Government reduced costs such as energy for business companies?

It would be a bit odd considering I work for HP

Dell moved because of the unions and the government. Unions demanding constant pay rises and the government allowing the costs to get too high. We're not competitive enough compared to Poland.

Made perfect business sense to move there.
