They're selling UFC 2010, Blur and Split Second Velocity on both the PS3/360 for 19.99

Funnily enough,UFC 2010 is 40 euro second hand in there aswell. :p

Called into xtravision Tullamore and all the games were marked at €45+ but when i asked a staff member to check the price he confirmed that Splinter cell was indeed €19.99 but they didnt have any in stock :-( I didnt ask about any others as i wasn't interested in them,so my advice would be to ask at the counter

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,285 ✭✭✭eoinf

Aughrim street had all the games previously mentioned for €20

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,741 ✭✭✭bigron2109

If you were to buy UFC for 20 in xtravision, and trade in, straight away say in gamestop, how much would you get?? Im looking to get tiger woods at the moment but im skint..:(

you mean prussia st? they had all the games there but the staff are so unhelpful. I traded in heavy rain which would be 30 credit for SC;conviction and
they wouldn't put the remaining 10 on a gift card (which I had from the lasty time I traded there) and then when Iwent to pick out a couple of cds they said that as the were loss-leaders they weren't included and I had to spend the remaing 10 on a game. I ended up getting lost planet 2.

Went back into the Bray branch yesterday about Splinter Cell. Guy at the counter checked, seemed surprised when it came up as 19.98 :) Picked up a copy, so definitely worth going up and asking if the games are mispriced!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,139 ✭✭✭martineatworld

All mispriced in the Mullingar store.

Over in a similar thread in the playstation forum,

Can anyone verify or rubbish this 2 for €30 idea?

Theses shouldn't be in the 2 for €30 section AFAIK. They are on special for €19.99 for one week.

New policy with the new computers means that we're actually not allowed to put remaining credit onto gift cards anymore.

Usually games that are €20 go into that 2 for €30 offer, just ring them up and check or if I remember I'll check when I'm in work later.

there might already be a thread on this but i got mass effect 2 and dragon age origins for €15 each preowned

Can confirm they ain't in the multi-buy 2 for €30. But the offer is still on.

    tell u a good one:

i bought various blurays over the past week in xtravision, i noticed that they had reduced a few blurays to 5.99 (new), because these ones would not sell, i was chatting to the manager and he said since they got them in none had ever been sold, yet when the sale was over they put them back up to €8. Where's the logic in that.

Yup its not 2 for €30 on these games, just €20 each I was told. Picked up splinter cell though for €20.

It is 2 for 30 , I got Blur and UFC 2010 for 30 in Sutton yesterday as well as other users.

Well it ain't on the new computers, I scanned two games on sale for €20 onto the computer and there was no discount. The shops which still have the old computers you just put in the code and you get the discount so that's what must have happened.

New system doesn't add all promotions though, eg. 2 for €18 PVDs, you have to manually put in the discount.

thanks op picked up splt second after trips to different xtravision. first xtravision girl said price was €50 - even after I asked her to check it. so I rang my other local one who said it was €19.99. had to make 2 journeys bah!

guys is bur or split second which is the better game because i loved pgr on the xbox so which one is good to play over the next few days ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,266 ✭✭✭00sully

well I got split second because its apparently a better single player game which is what I wanted (seems more like burnout on first go)

blur is prob better for MP though I only played the demo.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,096 ✭✭✭✭the groutch

offer confirmed in Bray, all of the games mentioned marked €19.99 except splinter cell

bought Split Second on advice of staff member (wanted whichever of them between this and Blur was morn like Burnout)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,084 ✭✭✭n1ck

I am indeed, i know it doesn't do it for 2 blurays at €10 each so 2 for €18, not sure about other offers. I know it adds most of them though.
