Iphone 3GS keeps dropping the 3G signal

I keep having to go into setting to turn off and then on the 3G again in order to get it to function, Im on horrible OS4, can anybody help please, I have done a full reset and all that. Is anybody else experiencing this on vodafone ? :mad:
