You got up to illegal activities on the roads and done a legger every now and then and kept your cars address the same on the logbook? Now you want to find out which illegal activites you've been put down on record for without hanging yourself in the process?

Yeah, good luck with that one.

In Ireland You can get fine and You wouldnt even know about that unless You get notice by post. Thats drama. The story ends when You get cought at the check point and You dont even know whats was the reason. I read somewear that when driver fail to pay at the second attemt or whats so evere, case goes from garda to the court and some institution can inform You if there is any case running against You or so. Im not sure where i have read about all that.

What if I ring gards and i will have to pay let say 1000e in front as thats the high value for not paying fine on time? Iv no money im out of work. what than? Sharing room with jail mates?:) no way

Has it even occurred to you that English is not everyone's first language?

Well he should be able to spell if he decides to go on to a english speaking forum. Read the charter.

Thankfully with the rollout of Anpr and the wise men and ladies of the traffic corps drivers like yourself will be caught no matter how hard you many times you change your address.

You initally have 28 days to pay the fine, after that the fine is increased by 50% and you have another 28 days to pay the entire fine. If you miss that date then you have missed any chance of paying the fine and the case goes to court.

In otherwords, miss the the final deadline and there's no point in bringing €1000 to the Garda station, it won't keep you out of court. Instead, bring the money to court with you and pay up if the judge convicts.

Most traffic cases would be held in the District Court. I don't know of any central place to check but I presume if you contact the Courts service in the area(s) where you think you may have committed the offences they may be able to tell you if there is a hearing scheduled.

Worth to try but I dont have such kind of money at present. Would You recon the judge might share fine to pay bit by bit or so??

Payment by installments, possibly but it would depend on a lot of factors such the nature and volume of the offences, your personal circumstances (dependants, etc) and the mood of the judge.

If you do have to go to court then get yourself a solicitor, he or she would be able to argue your case better than you can and it might cost you less in the long run.

??? why do you need to know if you dont want to face consequence!!!
options....go to garda station and eventually get court date.
or wait for some day to be arrested on side of road,
just my opinion but dont know what you need to know?

Anyone else curious to know what the OP did? :)

The only way to find out is to go to the guards i suppose. Even if you're innocent though, it would be nice to know if there was a way of finding out if you have an outstanding fine for speeding etc online as many people do change address frequently so might not have received anything in the post. What happens then?

know a girl who went fixed camera twice in one day, 7mts later was pulled by garda for having licence suspended!! she had moved address and knew nothing of it!!

i was drivin with out belts on. It was 2 years ago. Exactly two years ago. It was my first time ever gards stoped me. I didnt speak english that much. I dint realy get what gards said. I was about to move my address around that time. Leater i heard that in Ireland gards dont have to give You fine in hand as in Poland police do. They send fine by post.

Now, Im not sure on wich name fine is recorded. On the car owner or on the driver ?

I wish to have clear a.c in Ireland i dont need any troubles

2 years ago:eek: In that case, i wouldn't worry about it too much now. There is no real way to find out other than going to the guards but why are you worried now after 2 years? Anyway, hope you have learned your lesson and have not driven without seatbelt since.

just want to have clear a/c nothing more than that.
