    play in a society last week and a guy was disqualifed for not putting a score on his card for the 18th hole ,signed his card but it was a stableford comp were they right

    Yes.

    Incorrectly filled scorecards can and will not ever be accepted regardless of type of competition.

    Generally speaking you can't be disqualified for omitting a score in a stableford comp, but societies are law onto themselves and as such can do whatever they like.

    Incorrectly filled scorecards can and will not ever be accepted regardless of type of competition.
    daitha09 is right i looked up last nite on the r&a site under rule32-1b he should not have been disqualified

    No, they were not right. In stableford it would be the same as scratching the hole, just no score recorded for that hole. Simple.
