Swimming the shannon near Ennis

    Calling all westies :)
    Can any of ye recommend a good spot to get in for a dip in the Shannon near Ennis?
    The estuary looks fairly big down that end on google maps - is it safe to swim in? Any nasty currents or submerged Boeing 747's to watch out for?
