Passat B5 1.8T fix-up

Going to "fix-up" my Dads Passat B5 1.8T (pre facelift) to get her back on the road again for him. He used it as a taxi for years but is no longer taxi'in so the cars been sitting in his drive-in for nearly a year (she still ticks over).

Engine Mileage in unknown as the original one went boom on the M50 and put a hole in the head so he got one supplied from the breakers up north for (very) cheap with the knowledge that it was in working order but no mileage cert. She runs fine.

    Current problems -
Turbo is gone and some indy he use to use disconnected it. So engine runs but no turbo, she's barely able to get off the line like this! Didn't even know this was possible till it was done. New/Old turbo needed. What turbo did it have? Is it possible to put a K03 onto it?

Airbag light on on dash. Possibly the wires below the seats are damaged as the seats would have been moved forward/backward a lot due to it being a taxi previously. Its never been in any crash/bang/tip so doubt its the tensioner in the belts thats fired (I believe they can go?).

Full service: oil change, filters change, break fluid change, coolant flush/change, brakes/rotors changed (if needed??). Anything I'm missing here?

Needs 4 new tyres, no matter how much he insists theres tread left on them they've been sitting there for a year with little or no air in the and the sidewalls are probably weakened by it. Better safe than sorry.

Remove the taxi meter and any other taxi related bits and pieces.
Fix up the interior, its in good nick even though it was a taxi.
I'm gonna be broke when this is all done

To be honest, by the sounds of all the work and parts that's needed, I'd probably be having a look at how much a similar car is going for on Carzone.

I'd imagine there wouldn't be much in the difference... like this one

Yeah but where's the fun in that???
If I posted in general motors section I'd expect that but I thought in tech help I might get better help. Not knocking you personally Kaiser.
