    Delivery & despatch options
    Standard Despatch - Free
Usually despatched within 2-5 business days
    Priority Despatch - £3.99
Usually despatched within 1-2 business days

Would you think that if you paid the extra that you would receive the item within 1-2 working days?

Despatched within 1-2 business - delivered to Ireland within ??? 3-4 days.

Made a couple of orders with them over the last few weeks, free delivery for both orders, both orders despatched the same day, or very early the next day.

When it actually arrives is out of their hands though.

Im not hugely impressed by Wiggles service to be honest.

Like the OP I've found delivery slow. The may not be responsible for delivery once its dispatched but the certainly contract the courier who is.

I've needed to return two faulty items (out of five ordered) and found the process VERY slow - as in weeks. The reason given was a back log in their returns department.

I also posted a broadly negative review on one of the items (it was given 4/5 stars on other reviews) and surprisingly this never appeared. I tried to query the reason why and was stone walled

I've taken my business else where

I have found service to be good. I jump around between Wiggle, BikeDock.com and ChainReactionCycles.com based on product price and availability.

That's true, I think the 3.99 extra would only really be worth it if wiggle had lot of orders in the queue, in that case you'd be right up front with priority dispatch and wouldn't have to wait your turn (well unless there's other priority customers ahead of you). I've always assumed that this is the way it's done but I could be wrong. I've thought that they take orders as they come and it's first come first serve, except of course if you've got priority dispatch then they'd bump you up. Kind of like priority boarding on ryanair flights

The thing is I've always gone for standard dispatch with wiggle and my stuff has always arrived the very same week.

On the last two orders, which were pretty big, I ordered both on Sunday nights and they both arrived on Wednesdays which is pretty good I think.

Has anyone used any Irish based ones recently? Not knocking people using others (I've used wiggle for example).

I remember a couple of years ago there didn't seem to be any usable options really, but perhaps the landscape has changed a bit?

I can think of wheelworx, cyclesuperstore, trisports, trizone (new?), buckleys in cork for running shoes, runireland, any others new to the scene that are competitive?

I've never had a problem with wiggle orders. They're usually dispatched the next working day(or the same day if you order early enough) and then arrive 4 days later, without fail.
