Lyons - tastes nicer and the Barrys ads make me want to drive down to their headquarters and petrol-bomb the place.

Once it's not Tetleys or PGtips  That was the worst thing about living in London. The 'ethnic' section in Asda sold Barrys though

Is there any difference to be fair? It's only tea for jaysus sake.

Most Lyons people haven't tried Barrys.
I have successfully converted two households to Barry's as it is far superior.

I dunno, they still taste different. Might be psychosomatic or the differently shaped bags but PG Tips will never be as nice as Barrys.

barrys ftw. jesus christ, lyons is weak, manky piss.

    i use two teabags.

    i like tea. a lot.

nambarrie is actually an alright stand in (i'd only buy it up the north because there's no barrys)

Sounds good, never knew nambarrie made tesco tea! I'll buy that in future when there is no nambarrie available.
Lyons tea is alright, barrys is awful!

I almost never post in these sorts of threads with my work account, but I felt the need to here.

There is only one true tea.

    It is Lyons.
    OFFICIAL Tea of Boards.ie
(okay, so I made that bit up)

But here in our office (which consists of ourselves, Daft.ie and Adverts.ie), there was a box of Barry's muck that simply had to be thrown out after a year cause no one wanted to drink it. People would sooner go without. The Lyons boxes disappear in about 3 weeks (we're talking the 800 bag jobbies). I myself was responsible for 16 bags a day as I used 4 at a time in this mug:

However, I'm currently trying to cut down my caffeine dependency so have stopped drinking tea in the office :) I do keep an emergency stash though at my desk...
