Maybe wrong but restoring it in iTunes seems to be the answer to all problems like this, but i'm sure a techie on here will prove this true or false

Give it a few mins if still stuck on apple logo then
Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes

Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button

Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected.
Then restore from backup or as a new phone.

Before you connect it to itunes, hold the power and home button till the device switches off.Now just switch it back on normally, without connecting to itunes. If this still won't work, just as the guy above said and restore in DFU mode.Hope this helps, don't worry your ip4 is probably fine;)

just hold them till ya hear the first beep and release the sleep button, easier than trying to count it out

Don't worry it is downloading firmware for you, just make sure not to disconnect the ph.
Wipe the sweat and take it easy :)

It must be some size of a file. Im downloading at 1mb and it still says 66 minutes! However i don't care if it takes a week so long as it works! Thanks again all.
