Can you sow leeks now

Hi; In my veggie patch i have parsnip, rubharb and turnip with some leeks! My onions are coming up now so was thinking of planting some carrots for december but now i am thinking more leeks. Is there a certain type of leek we can sow now and if so where can i get it? Thanks
