Are any of you guys planning on going to it?

I was at it last year, it was a bit of a disaster to be honest, not fun. Had good fun with my mates but I could have done that anywhere else, any other time and any other day.

I'm considering trying it again this year for the hell of it. Plus at least Dignity is open now too.

If a few people here are interested in going to it, could we organise a meetup or something?

I think it might be a lot better this year considering that there is only one pride committee

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Well I live in Galway, so I'll probably go. Don't really know though, I heard it's not the best.

There were rows? Were the catholic farmers not happy with it? :D

I dunno though, my best friend Ocean went to it, and she said it's all just middle aged men :P

No - There was 2 separate pride committees, they each organised events and they wanted to have 2 separate parades but the Guards told them they wouldn't allow separate parades

yea will be heading to pride this year.
should be a bit of craic! however there doesnt seem to be anything else on besides stuff in the pub and club! wish there was more going on, like something different besides club nights!

plus there usually is a full events guide for pride, there isn't one this year!
