Just wondering where's the best place in Dublin to get one, looking for a 16kg one I'd say. Would that be decent enough? At the moment I just usually do a tonne of dumbell work with 7.5kg, have to get into using my barbell again.

    Cheaper the better!:D

    Hi Gavin

In fairness both Irish Lifting & Buy Kettlebells Dublin are pretty much the same price per kg for their KB's.

Personally though, I prefer the competition KB's from Buy Kettlebells Dublin. I like that fact that all the KB's are the same size, no matter what the weight and I also perfer the handle shape. But these are personal preferences. Price & quality wise both outlets provide a really good product.

Thanks for the replies, think I'll just go with the one I was already bidding on adverts for, seems the cheapest.

    Hi Gavin

    Just a word of caution.

If you are biding on a KB on Adverts.ie, just be aware that some KB's are made in two halves and then joined together. This can leave a ridge on the handle, which is not filed down properly can tear up your hands quite badly.

If you are the successful bidder I would advise that you tell the Seller that you will purchase subsequent to inspection, and if you find that the KB does infact have a ridge on the handle, the walk away.

Cheaper is not always better. Sometimes you have to pay a little extra for quality ;)

    Best Regards,

So would worth out €40 for a 16kg one? Nice.

Are they cast iron ones or like the ones from "Buy Kettlebells Dublin Kettlebells"

Was trying to get a pic for you, they are black cast iron. I find them really good. I shopped around and it seems to be the best price. Check out their website http://www.wildgeesema.com/ or call them.

Sorry to dig up and old thread, but I did the above course this morning - and it was fantastic :)

Anyone who was curious about kettlebells [like me] could do much worse then checking out a similar course..

I missed out on it but am doing it October 10th. Can't wait. Great to hear good feedback.

    Did you do this course?

I'm on two minds, being from Donegal, it's quite a trek for me. I may just buy the Kettlebell and try learning off youtube.

On a side note, would you go for their kettlebell at 42 euro or this one at 45 (both prices for 16kg including delivery).
