Lol this is harder to explain then I thought!

Lets just pretend its the top 4 for now. This is Betfairs top 4 handicaps.

    Chelsea +0
    United +2
    City +7
    Arsenal +9

Now for example this is how the real premiership table finishes

    1.Chelsea 80 points
    2.United 78 points
    3.City 77 points
    4.Arsenal 74 points

add the handicaps and you get a revised table of

    1.City 84 (77 points + 7 Handicap)
    2.Arsenal 83 (74 + 9)
    3.Chelsea 80 (80 + 0)
    4.United 80 (78 + 2)

So only bets on City would win.Alot of people think that if they back Arsenal and because they finish ahead of the real premiership winner, then their bet is a winner but its not.

Hope this sort of makes sense!

Basically u add all the points from the handicap table to the teams points in the real table and then u see who is top.

for what its worth l did liverpool, +14 everton +22 and aston villa +24 today myself in ladbrokes all each way at 15/1 each.

Basically it's all about who you think will over-achieve this season. Two seasons ago Liverpool and Stoke were the big winners, and last season it was Birmingham.

Word of advice though. Every bookie gives its own handicaps, meaning that different bets would win in different places (as was the case with Liverpool and Skoke, if you bet on Liverpool in one place you could've lost whereas you would've won if you went elsewhere).

So my advice would be to decide on who you're going to put money on, and then research where has the best handicap :)

Everton will be a great bet on the Handicap betting this year..

They won't be far off 4th and I think the top 6/7 will be quite bunched..

Yeah I agree on Everton, a +22 point handicap seems good. I've backed Everton and Wigan on this.

It's been an unfashionable team winning the last couple of years, and I think Wigan are better than their billing as the 3rd worst team in the Prem. Hopefully this Boselli guy is as good as his record suggests.

Racingpost tipped Bolton or Stoke to win this year

the more l look at this market the more everton look a great bet.
they had so many injurys last year and still did well.

they dont have to improve by that many around 10 points and for me the big thing is they are not in europe this year which will be a huge help.

lm gona have another bet on everton tomorrow with ladbrooks.
looking on betfair they are 10/1 fav yet they are 15/1 with the bookies and u can do eachway.

For what it's worth I reckon Wolves are a great bet here
    Bwin go +45 18/1
It may be possible to lay them on betfair during the year if they are doing well to compensate for not having each way available. They're +42 there, you could even win both bets in an ideal world...

Everton and Stoke are normally the 2 to look at. Maybe Bolton too or even the Geordies.

You have to look at the whole table.. you have to beat everyone on the handicap not just the big teams..

Its a 3 horse now with Blackpool,Bolton and West Brom all very close.

So much for my Everton,Aston Villa and Liverpool bets.
I never even got any run at all from any of them.

I'd go with West Brom myself now but the odds are low.

It's a start of season bet ya couldn't be backing it now! I don't think Blackpool will get 5 more points!

No they keep betting in running right to the end of season on betfair and even some bookies still betting on it.
