Little and Large???

Ok.. to be blunt im a funny size as i have big shoulders so realistically i should be a XXL in t-shirts but I need a XXXL to compensate, and i spent 4 hours in town today with my girlfriend looking for a nice sporty t-shirt..But all the sports shops only accomodate for xxl if your lucky. I am also a big football fan and cant find a jersey in a 3 xl.. NO LUCK!!! lol. So I decided "ok i will see if i can at least get a plain t-shirt in dunnes or penneys in 3xl....you guessed it no luck. I mean there are plenty of shops to suit the more larger ladies and none for men. So when I see larger men around town where do they get there clothes ( except from e-bay) I am sure that the majority of men in there 50's and up dont use e-bay. I think its ridiculous that these shops dont stock for the larger and taller men. And yes an option is to lose weight lol, but im sure if they even stocked a couple of designs in a 3xl it wouldnt hurt if they didnt get sold for a while lol. So does anyone or has anyone had the same problem?

Went shopping with my 'little cousin' who's a Yank recently when he was on his hols, he's tall and built like a, well, a Yank football player. Had terrible trouble finding tshirts for him, eventually found a big shirt in one of the touristy shops near top of Shop St, but unless you want to look like a Guinness logo or have a sheep slogan on there, there weren't many options :(

There's a men's clothes shop up the road from the Hole in the Wall (who's name escapes me at the moment) that sell large size clothes and shoes. Only problem is that their clothes are of a style for men over 50 years old. Might be of some use for you if you're stuck for something like a shirt or plain white t-shirt etc at some stage.

Millets (next to Tesco), sell xxxl stuff. Mostly cotton t shirts but some polyester sporty type stuff. Don't get them in very often but if there's none there just ask a member of staff as they can be ordered.

forgiven a non-native asking, but where is the "hole in the wall"..

As a "nearly-50" the cloths might suit me...

Quick thing that comes to mind is Tesco's itself if you looknig for cheap and plain , they do tshirts that are 3xl sometimes 4xl ( but v few ) and they are a decent enough size and quality.

Clearwate Finglas have a big enough range but I'm guessing most of the bigger Tesco stores stock clothes aswell.

    Littlewoods sell big tops

    www.littlewoods.ie

They have jerseys in sometimes too, atm they live the Liverpool one up to a 5xl. They sometimes have different teams, the Ireland one was there for a while too.

Tesco is another good one, my dad gets tshirts and jumpers there a lot.

Edit: My Dad (who's in his 50s) shops online all the time! :pac:

    Hey OP,
Next sell mens tshirts up to xxxxx l ! not the branded stuff like diesel, nike but their own stuff, some of it is really nice like this http://www.nextdirect.com/ie/en/shot/X46/486/2?pid=741257&curr=eur&lang=en&country=ie&curr=eur&returnurl=%2fsearch%3fp%3dQ%26lbc%3dnextdirect%26uid%3d90531668%26ts%3dcustom%26w%3dtipped%26af%3d%26isort%3dscore%26method%3dand%26view%3dgrid%26nxtv%3d0%26nxti%3d0%26lang%3den%26country%3die%26curr%3deur&bct=%26quot%3btipped%26quot%3b

Also if you're looking for a jersey for a particular team then go online to their own megastores because I know Chelsea and Arsenal etc all sell triple xl on their websites but most of the shops don't keep those sizes in stock.
