    Hi folks,

Getting married at Xmas, bridesmaid dresses are navy we initially planned on having navy suits for myself and the best men also but any navy suits we have seen don't complement the dresses. One wedding hire outfitter suggested we go with black but it doesnt sound right to me. I saw a really nice blue suit in NEXT but at €350 a go I dont fancy shelling out for 5 of them. Does any one know of where I could hire similiar instead?

we were looking at navy suits aswell and found a lovely suit in Limerick, John Deignans... its up on the top of O'Connell Avenue.. I think thats the name! the trousers are grey with a navy and white pinstripe (making them sound like a pyjama pants... but they are nice!!) and the coat is a dark navy... They are very smart and cost around €120 to hire inc shirt... I think??

We decided to go with black because we changed our colour scheme and black suits better than navy, but if you are near Limerick then I'd say check that shop out. :)

You can have whatever you want & yes I have shot a few weddings where the groom(smen) wore navy blue, light grey & khaki suits so dont feel under pressure from the outfitters.

we bought our suits from M&S online. It was a slimfit wool blend in navy and worked out at €85 per suit (although would be slightly more expensive now as exchange rate has changed)
