Lacura shimmering day cream from Aldi - by far the best product ive ever used. Gives my skin a really health glow, only need to wear a tiny bit of foundation with it. And best bit, it only costs about 3 Euro.

Burts Bees Pore refing face mask - use it every second week, my skin feels really smooth after it, lasts a couple of days.

Thats it really, used to suffer from really dry skin ,but between the face mask & the shimmer cream and my skin looks healthier than it was when I was in my 20s :)( im 31 now).

cleanse, tone, moisturize is my mantra.

i love lush's ultra bland for cleanser. i use witch hazel and rose water as toner and i'm starting to use kiehl's facial lotion for moisturizer. I use the Yes for Tomatoes face wash but it made me break out for the first two weeks and it was expensive, so once I use it up I wouldn't buy it again.

I also use the St. Ive's Olive gentle facial scrub in the green tube and I'm happy with it. I also take MSM sulphur capsules for my skin. I use Sanctuary eye cream at night when I remember.

I'm 21 so I'm still looking for those products I'm happy with and that work for me in the long term. I currently don't use any body scrubs and I probably should!

Must admit i am not great for looking after my skin.

I am lucky to have pretty good skin & am always told I look younger.

I love liz earle hot cloth cleanser, lancome aqua fusion moisturiser & lancome eye make up remover. Using clinique superdefense moisturiser at moment but dont like- it smells funny!

Garnier Cleansing Milk for foundation as I find it's good for getting off long wearing foundation.

Clinique purple eye make up remover, again good for getting off a thick layer of mascara.

Then Clinique Dramatically Different yellow lotion.

I don't have amazing skin due to stupid acne (even though I'm on the pill and almost 25!) and the pill makes some areas dry too so I try to use light products which aren't too harsh or stripping.

I like to use Anti Chaffing gel as a primer if I have the time to spend doing my face. Makes it really smooth!

To be completely honest the Morning Cleanser is the exact same as the classic one albeit a slight bit lighter so it melts a little more into the skin. Also you don't need a muslin cloth with it but I use the cloth that came with the classic cleanser anyway.

I work with Eve Lom in a salon and my advice to you would be switch over to the Morning Cleanser instead of the classic because theyre nearly identical and you'll save money. The classic cleanser is €72 for 100ml whereas the Morning Cleanser is €50 (was originally €37 as the introductory price) for 125ml so all in all the Morning Cleanser is more bang for your buck! Hope that helps!

Really?? That's really good to know. All of the stuff I've read about it very cleverly makes out that it's much lighter and nowhere near as good a cleanser as the original; more for using as a refresher in the morning:rolleyes:

Does it go as far as the original one?? I always find I only have to use a tiny bit; takes me so long to get thru the tubs of it:)

I only use a small blob + the tubes still going strong after about 2 months..I'd say I could manage another 2 months out of it at least. Only annoying thing is the fact its in a tube not a tub so eventually you'd have to cut the top off it to get the very ends out:pac:

I swear by Nivea Creme... the one in the big blue tub you can get in boots for like, €6. My Mam swore by it and her Mam swore by it and t hey had the SOFTEST skin well into their 50's and beyond. I haven't settled on a cleanser though, I've noticed my skin starting to change recently...

I use Garnier something or other facewash in the shower in the morning, then I moisturise with Lush Imperealis. At night, I take off my make up with a cleansing wipe, then I wash my face to be extra sure it's all off. I use Ultra Bland, by Lush, and once I week I use Ocean Salt by Lush to exfoliate. Then I tone with Breath of Fresh Air, again by Lush and moisturise with... yup, Lush, Imperealis.

And every so often I use a Lush face mask, Oatifix and if my skin gets a bit dry, I slap on Botanics Face Super Balm before bed.

Seeing the list of products some people use makes me gasp!! Maybe I should be using some!! They must cost a fortune though, those expensive ones!

I'm 24 and my skincare 'regime' goes like this:

Get up. Moisturise with Oil of Olay or whatever I lay my hands on. Could be Dove body creme sometimes!

Before bed, remove make up with face wipe. Moisturise if I think of it.

Sometimes [to save my facewipes] I use a cleanser. Have a Simple Toner but never use it.

When I think of it, which isn't that often, I exfoliate. I should do it more, but I don't.

That's it. I don't get spots [though I have a teeny one today] but am quite lucky that way. My skin isn't extremely oily, or extremely dry, and free from blemishes.

My mum has fantastically soft & supple skin [she's only 44 though!] and never bothers with expensive creams. She uses a Lidl moisturiser sometimes.

First thing in the morning I use Lush angels on bare skin.

If I haven't worn make up that day then at the end of the day I'll cleanse my skin using the Lush 9-5 cleanser (which is brilliant!).

If I've worn make up/heavy make up during the day I'll use the 9-5 cleanser to remove the make up and then Lush Ultabland to really cleanse my skin to make sure that all residue is gone, rub it in to my skin and then leave a hot muslin cloth over my face for about a minute. Remove any excess Ultrabland with Lush tea tree toner water.
In the shower I use Lush Babyface cleansing bar as it means my skin doesn't feel horribly tight after the shower. I exfoliate once/twice a week with Lush Ocean Salt too.

Moisturise with the Boots Vanishing cream at night and maybe a little in the morning if I need to and then whack on Lush grease lightning if I feel like there are any spots that are about to come up, but only on to the area of the blemish.

My skin was ok but recently since I switched to using more natural products, I've seen a huge difference, my skin has really cleared up. It's also quite likely that it's partially down to the fact that when using these products I actually enjoy taking my make up off at the end of the day, it's not a chore anymore. It's something I look forward to and take care in doing rather than doing a half hearted rush job before getting in to bed.

    I'm the same as you.
    My "regime" is...

Take off any make-up with a Johnsons baby wipe (the ones that are actually for babies bums)...
If my eye make-up wont budge I sometimes use No7 eye make-up remover.

Then to make sure my make-up is all off, I wash my face...using whatever soap is in the bathroom at the time. It is usually Aldi's liquid handsoap.

Then, in the shower I always use St Ive's Invigorating Apricot Scrub thingy. I use it about 5 times a week.

Oh...and I never, ever, ever moisturise.

I'm starting to think that I should though, from reading all of these comments!

It seems I do very little compared to others here!

I usually don't do anything in the morning, but if my skin feels tight I'll use moisturizer (currently using the Nivea Cream, before this is was Olay) before I apply my make up. At night I take off my make up with a Boots Cucumber Face Wipe and moisturize and apply an eye cream (Elizabeth Arden, received it as a gift) if I think of it. I used to exfoliate but didn't notice much diference in my skin afterwards tbh. I have extremely clear skin.

Oh, and I hate Lush. :)

I have dull enough skin even though I cleanse, tone, moisturise. But I don't drink water religiously and get to bed late and spend most of my time indoors, so its my own fault really.

I read in the weekend section of the irish independent a few months ago that Tesco Skin Wisdom brand is actually quite good, they're developed in association with Bharti Vyas, a leading holistic beauty therapist apparently. I've started using the face wipes, for when I don't have time to (read: too lazy to) cleanse. They're only €1.40 or something, and as far as I'm concerned, face wipes all perform the same job, so I'm not forking out €3 something for some.

I am not doing much either and tbh I am a bit lazy to spend much time. :rolleyes:However, I swear on the body shop seaweed line since I have quite sensitive and oily skin...I like the moisturizing gel and use it instead of cream or so since it does not leave an oily film

I started using the Soap and Glory products a few months ago- I really like the scrubs and face masks, and I thought the "Clean Mary" cleanser was nice and gentle, but my skin has gone really awful. I'm thinking it might be since I started cycling to where I'm working for the Summer, it's 10km so I perspire quite a lot, which probably explains the spots on my forehead. Yesterday I bought the Clinique 3-step anti-blemish system, my face felt very clean last night and this morning after using it, so hopefully I'll start to see an improvement. I'm also going to start keeping facial wipes in work for after my cycle. I have a simple cleanser in work for when I shower after cycling, but it makes my face feel tight and dry.

That above post that talked about baby wipes and handsoap makes me want to cry. Oh dear.

    Morning:
warm facecloth on my face to open up my pores.
Guinot cleanser, which is massaged into my face.
    Remove with facecloth.
Wet a cotton disc with cold water, and use to apply guinot toner.

When my face is dry, I apply hydraction deep hydration radical serum from Dior.
And then, on top of that I use hydralife pro-youth protective creme from Dior.

Around my eyes I apply my garnier roll on followed by a guinot eye cream.

    Evening:
same steps, except I use estee lauder makeup remover and lancome eye makeup remover.
It's then the same cleansing and toning ritual.

I alternate between guinot night cream and a lancome night cream.

Twice a week I exfoliate. Once with diors hydrating exfoliator and once with guinot as there's no beads in it so it's not too harsh on my skin.

Every second week I use an eyemask from guinot - so for 7 nights, then break for 7.
Every week I use guinot facemask.
Every time I use the Dior exfoliator, I use this facemask gel from lancome, that you can leave on the entire night, and when you wake up, your skin is beautiful and soft. <3

I try have a guinot facial every 5-6 weeks.

At the moment however, my skin is wrecked from a makeup course I did. :(
I'm at a loss at how to nurse it back to health.

handsoap isnt the worst, really...! I know it isnt quite sophisticated, but I am using it as well from time to time and it is fine...I got rid of always having spots by doing that...and I really tried almost everything before.

I'd imagine it would maaaaaaaybe ok if you had really oily skin, or something.
I know hand sanatizer is supposed to be very good for spots/acne. But personally -- oh dear!! My skin is just so disagreeable lol, I used a babywipe once, I was stuck, going swimming and needed to remove my makeup.
You'd swear I was after pouring acid on my face. It was red, sore and then broke out.
I dread to think what soap would do to it.

    Hahaha :)

Maybe I have oily skin without realising it.
I use actual baby wipes, hand soap, and use the harsh St Ives scrub on a regular basis...and dont moisturise.
Thankfully I have no spots or dry skin or sensitivity (touch wood I dont in the future too!). So for the moment I am sticking to my cheap, low hassle "routine" :)
