Killing My Laptop

Can I get some suggestions from people on here as to what would be the best way to make my laptop stop working?

I would like to do so in a manner the will not arise suspicion of foul play.

A friend mentioned removing a part which prevents the latop from overheating and then putting it back once the damage is done.

Said laptop has been in for repairs on previous occasions so opening it up will not void warranty.

This is all hypothetical, of course.

Jam something thin between the blades of the fan to stop it moving, wrap it in a thick blanket and leave it running something very cpu intensive for however long it takes to overheat and melt something important. Might want to do it outside as it may well go on fire

A strong magnet should completely kill the HDD and probably a few other crucial bits.

Care to outline a hypothetical situation where you'd need to know this?

    Thread closed.

I don't know what you're up to OP. But it doesn't exactly sound legal.
