 You should probably stop watching the news in that case. Sad yes, but it happens every day of the week somewhere in the world.

You need to turn your face away from these stories or you'll go bonkers and end up one of those batty old ladies who's always crying over something in the paper !!!!

Dingos probably ate it. Or the American equivalent. Hillbillies.

Doesn't look like he was taken, which is something I suppose. Unless there are people out there with the balls to just walk into someone's tent and take their baby.

Bad news is, it gets pretty hot in Arizona, and wearing just a nappy probably won't help.

Aw, it doesn't bear thinking about the little lad out there all alone, bless him:(:(

*the pun on the word "bear" was not intentional btw*

fingers crossed the biological parents snatched him tbh, rather that than having him die alone from goodness knows what. :(

Poor kid. Please God he will be fine.

The poor kid probably saw a baby bear in the wild and thaught it was a teddy bear until the mother bear arrived.

Kids should not be given teddys especially in America, they are led to believe that bears are cuddly creatures when in nreality they are liable to bite your head off.

Missing Arizona toddler case now a criminal probe
    (AP) – 23 hours ago
RIMROCK, Ariz. — Northern Arizona authorities say a toddler missing since late last month from a campground is feared dead, and the case has turned into a criminal investigation.
Yavapai County sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said Monday that investigators don't believe that 2-year-old Sylar Newton wandered off on his own as his custodial mother said.
The boy was last seen the night of July 24 at the Beaver Creek Campground near Rimrock, where he was camping with his custodial mother and her family.
D'Evelyn says investigators believe the boy was taken from the immediate area. A nine-day search of landfills, trash bins and other areas of the campsite turned up no sign of him.

Egads! Another one! Arizona is dangerous for children at the moment.

DEWEY, Ariz. - Yavapai County Sheriff's Office are searching for another missing two-year-old boy.

Emmett Trapp was last seen at his home in the 1800 block of Lavender Sage Road in Dewey, Arizona around 8 p.m. Monday evening.

Emmett has brown hair, blue eyes and was wearing a pajama top, diaper and no shoes. He is about 26 pounds and three feet tall.

The boy's mother called YCSO around 8 p.m. after awaking from a nap and reported the boy missing. She had been home with her four children.

She searched around her home and property without finding her son.

The family dog apparently wandered off with Emmett, but the dog returned home when he was called.

Deputies arrived shortly after the call was made and searched the home and surrounding areas.

The search effort continues with additional search teams.

There is no evidence of foul play.

    Sounds VERY suspect.

I've no doubt that if sick jokes were not forthcoming. you'd dredge up something else to prompt them. Daytime TV is full of the kind of things you appear to be looking for.
