New Lamp any reccomendations!!

    The lad I had borrowed a lamp from for the last year has taken it back as he is just about to get a new rifle and get back into lamping foxes. This leaves me needing a new one. It was a lightforce 170 I was using. Would any of you reccomend any of the other brands of similar types of lamps available as there seems to be a few and they all are cheaper than the Lightforce.

    I think it's U-caller that do an exact immitation of the lightforce and they throw the same light etc. Less money though;) hmm, maybe someone can clarify for us if it's definitely U-caller? Cheers

    Yes the U-caller Night-Eye is a clone of the LF 170 but they only do the hand held version as far as I no. Good value @€;59 and does the same job so you save a few $$$$$$.
    Time for a trip to Stakelums @20% off this week.:)

    I have a light force 240, mighty lamp but it's to strong really and makes things look alot closer than they actualy are.
    Also keep an eye out for the battery packs in lidil or aldi. Not the big ones with pump and lights its just a small tidy one, great value and good lasting power.

    To be honest the lightforce I had borrowed was a scope mounted version but I only ever used it on the scope once as I am usually out with someone else!! I rekon the hand held job will do me just fine, Unfortunately I am a long way from thurles clive!!!

    Do you have a laser card or credit card?

    I do have cards alright, i have been looking briefly online but havn't found any @59 more like 79 so far!!

    A lot of the dealers will stock these lamps or €69 from the importers
