Hey guys. I was wondering if anybody could help me out with some glock advice? My buddy is experiencing problems with firing his GBB G17. When he loads his mag and starts firing the first few rounds come out in semi auto as normal. After a few shots however it starts spitting them out in full auto. He's worried because as I said its a standard G17 not the full auto G18.

Anybody have any suggestions? I dont have any experience with pistols only AEGs. Could it be a magazine problem? Or a faulty gas regulator? If you have any suggestions on how to fix it or maybe ideas on replacing parts then your help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh by the way he's had it for about 3 years and it's never been skirmished, just used for target and drill practice.

The exact same thing happened to my Glock 17 but it only happened the once. I suggest starting with stripping the pistol down cleaning it all out and re-lubing it with silicone oil.

Cheers dread-lock. I'll get him to give that a try. Not sure if he's good about cleaning it so that might do it! Actually might get him off him and do it myself.

test fired the gun several times then stripped down gave it a thorough examination. The feeder mechanism in the slide was not moving freely. Probably a small piece of grit or dirt causing the blockage. Thanks for the advice man.
