Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage - in dynamation?

    Couldn't find mention of this before.

    A new Sinbad live action is on the way and apparently it's been done in dynamation. For those who don't know (and to be honest, I had to look it up :D ), dynamation is Ray Harryhausen's style of stop motion animation that was used in the original Sinbad movies all those years ago. Here's the teaser:



    From the looks of it, it seems to be a mix between CGI and dynamation. I'm curious how it'll turn out.

    Well as I'm always one railing against not respecting old techniques I shall give this a thumbs up. Harryhausens technique is charming and timeless good that someone is willing to revive it. I wonder what the great man thinks of it. That said I doubt the film will be any great shakes as the director has a track record that screams "hack!"
