Hi. I have DTT through a contact outdoor aeriel in my attic.
Signal is good for all DTT channels.
Question I have is there any way I could pick up some of the English freeview channels this way?
I have a booster which i never attached to the line as I dont need.
I have an mpeg 4 tv which converts signal for me.
Could I buy a freewview box of some sort\/

    Help appreciated

    Thanks

    depends on where you live.
if you are on the east coast you will have a good chance.

Maynooth. So only about 15 miles from coast.
What other equipment would I need. I read that booster/amplifier should be on aeriel side of line, not TV side as causes interference?

    thanks

think you may be out of luck,

but never say never. someone else may be able to give more info,

you could go for a satellite dish for freesat viewing.

You might be in with a chance of getting something from NI post 2012

I would certainly doubt it from up in your attic unless you are on a height and have a clear line of sight for about 5 - 10 miles
