One of the best and cheapest upgrades is a Guarder clear hop rubber and nub!
A tightbore barrel is always a good investment, for better range and accuracy.

If it is gearbox upgrades you are after, you need to decide what exactly it is you want??

    Higher ROF?
More FPS? (of course only up to 328fps or 1 joule)
Or just better greasing and shimming?

more of a higher rate of fire becuse the power is right at the top it is allowed to be also need a bit of advise on how to open it up

The JG gearboxes are really quite tough.

A high speed motor will give you a much quicker ROF.
G&P 120 is a pretty good high speed motor.

    What battery are you using?
If you are using an 8.4v try a 9.6v as that alone will increase your ROF.

do you know where to get said parts

I would try the local retailers first.
If no stock, try Fire-support in the UK or places like ehobbyasia.

I believe it is probably the single best upgrade that you can do to a gearbox and is money very well spent approx €20ish for the parts involved is to replace the nylon bushings with bearings and shim it
The benefits are a quieter smoother running gearbox which will decrease the rate of ware of the internal components and because you have decreased the overall friction between said components the motor have an easier life so the rate of fire increases
I have personally seen improvements in the order of an extra 100-130 rep per min from this simple upgrade

If you wish to change the piston then get a lightweight one, because being lighter it requires less effort from the motor to move so again you would expect to see a further if small improvement in rate of fire
The next thing on your list could maybe be a bearing piston head and possibly a bearing spring guide, again the idea of these is to reduce the friction between piston, spring and spring guide

There are many other things that you can do to improve things all round such as high speed motors, high speed gear sets silent piston head/cylinder head, o-ring air nozzle, dual o-ring cylinder head the list is almost endless
It just depends on how much money you wish to spend, so factor in the cost of the parts and can you do the work yourself or do you need to pay somebody to do it for you

The quickest way for somebody to increase their current rate of fire that is using an 8.4v battery is to fit an 9.6v battery instead, this is something that is easily done to most AEG although there are a few that just do not have space to fit one without a wee bit of work AUGs & DBoys Scars come to mind
But if you can do the work yourself then I would say do the bearings and shim the box first the increase in rate of fire is about the same as putting in the 9.6v battery and the gearbox will last longer

PS both AirsoftEire and Mid West Airsoft have a large selection of the parts required on there web sites

i speak from expierience when i say a gaurder hop rubber, new shims and as stated above replace the nylon bushings do not replace the barrell there is a tightbore as standard in the jg g36 they do this to compete with higher quality airsoft guns also have a systemaspring guide with bearings my g36 has hreat range and shoots a constant 310-315

Yep the JG G36 does come with a TB as standard, but I personally like to replave them with a better quality one!
    This is just my opinion.:)
