Hi! I live in spencer dock, and I would like to know what buses do I take to go to either Grafton st. or st. stephen's green and which is the nearest bus stop to me? I just by the calatrava bridge. Thanks for all your help!:)

The 151 picks up along Sheriff Street outside Docklands Rail Station and will drop you at College Street for €1.15, just a stone's throw from Grafton Street. From that same stop, you can go further on to Stephen's Green on a number 10 for just 50 cent (City Centre fare).

Returning, though, you will need to cross O'Connell Bridge to Eden Quay for a 151 on the way back towards Docklands.

    Two other options:

    From St Stephen's Green:
74 or 74a will take you from Dawson Street and Suffolk Street to the stop on Custom House Quay before the Calatrava Bridge.

128 will take you from the same stops to opposite Connolly Station.

    To St Stephen's Green:
Walk across the bridge to Sir John Rogerson's Quay and get a 74/74a from there (heading towards town) to Nassau Street or Kildare Street (Monday/Friday only - On Saturdays and Sundays walk further along Macken Street to Pearse Street).

The 128 will also take you from outside Connolly Station to Nassau Street and Kildare Street.

Routes 4, 4a, 5, 7, 7a, 45 from Lower Mount Street or from O'Connell Bridge/Lower Grafton Street (note that route 45 starts at Merrion Square).

At the moment routes 2 and 3 are temporarily curtailed to Sandymount due to roadworks, but some journeys on both routes (not only some) normally operate to UCD past St Vincents Hospital - the nearest stop would be heading towards Ringsend on Pearse Street.

Check the timetables and the Dublin Bus website for details.

Dublin bikes from custom house quay to St Stephens green or merrion square are probably the fastest way to make the connections you want. Getting a bus from north docks to Stephens green will not save much over walking.
