    Unusual question...

Anybody know of any reputable schools over in USA for doing an entire CPL/ground school package?

I've found plenty that do cater for european JAA CPL, but for fixed wing only, and not rotary...

Don't know if I'm asking in the right place, but any help appreciated.

    Regards,

I know Bristows do, I hear that they work as a kind of "pilot factory", but at the end of the day - you wouldn't pass the exam if you weren't ready.
    Good Luck!

Aye, was looking at these guys. They look like they might be one of the better choices allright, and I also like the way the CPL programme is spread over a year, as some other companies try to squeeze it into a smaller time frame, which certainly can't be good.

The one issue I have though is the amount of hours offered, and the price. I've seen packages cheaper where they will keep you on for longer to add more hours, for like a set fee of $59,000. However these are all FAA programs which are obviously useless to me.

It won't be for a year or so, but I obviously want to start get my finances in order now, so hence why I want to start getting ballpack figures etc., etc.

Also, if the course takes a year to complete, how do I get a visa for that long? As a visitor to the states you only get 90 days right? Is there an exception for things like this?

    Again, appreciate the help!
