    Is it possible to withdraw a complaint made after a court date has been set? It is the DPP prosecuting.

    Is it possible to withdraw a complaint made after a court date has been set? It is the DPP prosecuting.

    What do you mean? If the DPP have chosen to prosecute someone for an offense then nobody but the DPP can stop them from bringing a criminal action depending on the crime being charged. As far as i am aware a victim can request the DPP to change their decision to charge a suspect however they dont have to pay any attention to you.

    Remember the DPP is not charging someone on your behalf. THey are charging someone on behalf of the People of Ireland.
