I am just wondering if someone could loan me a sat nav for the week?

I have to go to Kerry on my own, then possibly to Limerick and then back to Dublin. The thought of driving and flicking through directions just dosn't go well with me :)

I generally never use them so that's why I don't wanna buy one just for this journey.

    thanks :)

ps feel free to move mods...

Oh please person I've never met, take my sat nav:D

Seriously, print a map, pick the main road that suits and follow it. Ireland is pretty easy to navigate your way around in fairness. You wont have any probs.

hey I'm trustworthy- just I could be going a few different places...
I don't wanna be reading maps and driving at the same time.

I know it's a long shot but hopefully someone will oblige me :)

I find AA route planner to be pretty good ... anywhere you're going to will probably be pretty well signposted anyways.

ha you would think that but it's probably unlikely as I'm going right to the far end of Kerry!
I'm a divil for getting lost in the country so would rather have a sat nav to help me :D

Better still buy a map. There was a post here some where about the new Collins Road atlas or Ireland and it's supposed to be very good. Here it is

You can buy a phone for 50 euro with Google map and GPS...
    Come on :D

Yeah I'll give you a lend of one. A 500 non-returnable deposit should do it.

Come on OP, be realistic. Get a friend, family member or colleague to lend you one.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
