How long should it take to post a packet from Cork to Milton Keynes in the UK?

I posted something last Wednesday via registered post and it still hasnt delivered. Getting quite worried.

Apologies to mods if this doesnt belong here but i thought it was more suited than online buying and Auctions.

Yeah the tracking says it left Dublin on Thursday. Milton Keynes is a fairly big town especially for commerce so i shouldnt be taking this long to get there.

Packets usually take 48 hours. I find the standard post is the quickest, stuff sent Registered/Fast track or whatever usually take longer.

Put the tracking code into the parcel trace on the Royal Mail website. You should get details of where it is in the UK now.

I did, and i changed the last 2 letters from ie to GB and it said it had no information and that any information would be provided after it had been delivered.

normally doesnt update until after delivery - and only then with a signature, but no location of delivery.

@OP it should have been delivered by now. If not, it should be in the next 2-3 days at most.

Don't automatically assume the Royal Mail have lost it. It could be that it was out for delivery and there was no one at the premises to sign for it. Have you any contact with the addressee, are they expecting it?

Its a repair center for HTC inc. so its defo attended.
I have no direct contact with the addressee but i can track the status of the repair and that says they havnt received the phone yet. SO i technically have 2 ways to track it.

    An Post and Via HTC
