Supposed to start at 3, but it was decided to delay start until after the langers got their hammering from Kilkenny. As I said a joke. How is it that no one can organise a dart tournament and actually start at the time advertised, is it that feckin' difficult?

Ah right. I wudnt know anything bout the darts in mallow, thou i live there... I dont play in the town, for a few reasons, 1 being i dislike about 95% of them that play in that league.

I wud have normally went down, but im to busy sitting here in kerry trying to avoid the sun...

So, was there a big crowd?? Prize money??? Set up???

Why don't you pop along to one of the rounds of the Ireland Players' Championship or even the Tom Kirby Memorial Irish Matchplay and you will see competitions starting an time ?

Peter is playing extremely well and is putting in a lot of practice and travel.
He picked up a handy €250 for his day's work - - very small turnout I believe.

Watch out for him in the Tom Kirby Matchplay - - he is determined to get back on the stage at the City West to banish the memory of his last visit there.

How very dare you say such a thing.... Suprised at you to say the least. That Quinny doesnt practice, he is just naturally gifted....:D:D:D:D

Was a good win for Peter im hearing... He got the tough side of the draw :eek:(that made me laugh, tough side of a draw in mallow:rolleyes:)

He had to overcome a bye in the 1st round, Nicky Sherman in the 2nd, and Ian Dobson in the semi final.

    Not a bad afternonns work.

I wouldn't be anywhere near the standard required for these competitions
