For those wondering what the hell was going on tonight at the top of the North Road and the absolutely massive fire, a number of large gas cylinders apparently exploded. They were based in the deep pit of the quarry apparently - and thank heavens too! Its yet to be ascertained if the explosion/fire was started on purpose…

For those wondering what the hell was going on tonight at the top of the North Road and the absolutely massive fire, a number of large gas cylinders apparently exploded.
They were based in the deep pit of the quarry apparently - and thank heavens too!

Its yet to be ascertained if the explosion/fire was started on purpose or by accident but the people at the time of my posting (22.36) have been given the all clear now and are being let back into their houses in the surrounding areas.
