    I've got two Xtreamer Pro's with 2 x 2TB in each & absolutely love them.
    Currently using firmware 2.4 beta 20 which gives proper HD Audio & they're still working/updating it & community are working on a program called jukebox that allows you to get album art for your movies etc. & synopsis from let's say imdb.

    Plays DVD ISO's & bluray with no problem, have thrown everything & anything at it & no issues, avi's/mkv's mts files dvd (video/audio ts folders) etc. no hassle with 720p/1080p.
    Mind you, I have only used it as a standalone player & haven't streamed over the network so can't give any info on that.
    It doesn't however have the menu's (play movie/scen selection etc. as far as I'm aware) for the blu-rays unlike the dvd which works just fine but that's a work in progress through the firmware as blu-ray menu's are done through java.

    Don't own a wdtv live so I can't say anything for that.
