I've a black cocker spaniel, six years old.

When she sees rabbits in a field she freezes & slowly sneaks up towards them...moving each leg ever so slightly with steady, slow, deliberate movements....like a lion stalking!

She gets to within a few feet before rabbits run in....seem to take no notice as she sneaks up towards them.

Sometimes she catch one......brings him back, still alive, without a scratch....has a very soft mouth.
