I've heard this is the best foundation on the market at the min and wanted some opinions.

Its a half serum half make up foundation so apparently it blends into the skin very well and it looks after your skin as opposed to harming it the way regular make up does.

I tried it at a dior counter and i have to say i thought it was very good, the girl let me do half my face myself and i did the other half to demonstrate how it blended. I thought the coverage was about medium, she says its buildable if you want a fuller coverage ( although i hate that because you're running out of product quicker) but medium suits me fine. It went on flawlessly! There was little difference between my side and her side. She took off my side and did it herself and put on a little eye make up and told me to wear it for the day and see what i thought. I have dry skin and it didn't dehydrate my skin at all, was very light and the look lasted the day. So its fair to say overall i was very impressed but...

... the price is whats holding me back buying it. I usually use double wear which is about 45, thhis is 78.50!!! Having said that i only used one pump to cover the half of my face, a little goes a long way so i think it would last longer than the dw. I'm really impressed but wannted to check if anyone had used it and had other opinions on it before i purchased it?

I think it could be my perfect foundation as the shade match was spot on but i never thought i would consider spending that amount on foundation

    Thanks!

I've used it and tbh i think its the best foundation i've ever used. At the moment i'm using another dior one called airflash which is an airbrushed/spray on foundation. It goes on in one min and is flawless but it doesn't have the staying power of captue totale or the minding your skin. I can't afford it at the min but i got a good 6 months out of it, as soon as i have the money again i'm going to get it again. I think airflash is great if you're in a hurry or don't spend much time getting ready as its so easy and maintenance free but with the ct my skin was amazing. I'm going to get the capture totale serum soon, i've sampled it a few times at a dior counter and my skin felt a bit different in a good way but i can't pinpoint how. I'm really surprised by dior as i haven't heard much about their make up and skincare other than blackout mascara but their range is amazing (although a little pricey). If i had the money i would fill my make up case with dior but sadly i don't!!! So its a mix of dior, estee lauder and boots 3 for 2s!!!
