    I feel old.

He's been waiting for months just to make this thread. :D

It's nice they actually went to the bother of checking that August the first was a Sunday.

The episode aired in 1995 so they set it 15 years in the future...which is 2010.

still is child marriage at the end of the day.

She better still be a virgin or the wrath of some random god will stone her to death

    hehe, very good.

Lesson of the story (not this particular story but ones like it:))

In the future we won't have inconcievable technology like hover-crafts, we will however have very different hairstyles that make the styles of today look lame. Also the definition of a 'cool' person by today's standards will just look llike a knobby tosser by future's standards.

Hip hop will become a lame naughties craze.

    Marge in Chains
Kwik-E-Mart operator Apu testifies in a courtroom scene in the episode that he is able to recite 40,000 decimal places of the number pi. He correctly notes that the 40,000th digit is the number one. The episode's writers prepared for this scene by asking the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for the number of the 40,000th decimal place of pi, and NASA sent them back a printout of the first 40,000 digits

    Afraid she is not,

They left some pretty disturbing stuff out of that behind the laughter episode

Basically they all went into porn, it remains unknown to many, but the majority of these animated stars have nothing else to turn to when their careers are over, there is a whole underworld of it out there, a true shame :(
