I sold my 3GS 32GB for €334, which paid for my €319 iPhone and a €14 case which will last me until my InvisibleShield and free Apple case arrives. The other iPhone still has two months left on the warranty, is unlocked (officially by O2) and basically completely prestine, thanks to the amount of work I did making sure that it never got scratched, with the InvisibleShield and the case I put it in (both of which I gave to the guy who bought it.) He was very happy with the deal, and I transferred the warranty over to him as well as letting him know he could extend it if he wanted, so it was a win-win situation!

Got 150 for a well worn 16gig 2g that I bought in Jan for 190, was hoping to get more, but my iPhone 4 ended up costing me just 69.

It's hard to call, there's so many for sale. Adverts.ie is certainly quicker insofar as if someone offers you a decent enough bid the cash is in your hands within hours sometimes. On the down side it looks like it's a buyers market at the mo with so many iPhone out there. A great time to buy your first iPhone or upgrade.

Yeah, I'm just waiting for my White 16GB 3GS to be returned from apple with it's nice new back (had the crack problem by the dock connection) and I'm going to stick it up on adverts.ie. What do you guys think is a reasonable asking price?

Wow, I'd be more than happy to get 250 for my 3GS, nevermind a 3G. Where did you sell it ?

Thinking of using ebay cos it looks like adverts.ie involves dealing with lots of messers and time wasters.

just ring apple, they will send out a courier, ya should have one back in a week
for a quicker option they will put a 500 euro holding fee and charge 25 iirc and give a phone to the courier to swap with you, when they get bck ur original one they remove the hold

You know, I'd take a little salt with many of the posted prices. But Envirophone.ie if offering €244 right now.

But their prices are as low as €105 and even €37 for an iPhone G4 ... HA hahahhahaha

Some peope were reporting bad experiences with envirophone on an older thread. envirophone claiming that phones weren't received, weren't working, not being able to get their cash etc. I thought about it but decided it was too risky sending a high end smart phone to them. They value my old nokia at €42 so might let them have that.

Do you reckon I'm better off using ebay.ie or ebay.co.uk ? i.e. 4 million people vs 60 million.

A Bit off Topic but to finance my shiny new iPhone 4 I sold my N97 32GB for €200 flat

Got €150 for my 16gb 2G iPhone. Sold it to a friend. He was pretty happy with the deal, but i did feel a bit guilty heading directly to the 3 shop and getting an iPhone 4 for only €70 more! :) Tho, I see some others here are selling their 2g models for around the same price, so that eases my conscience somewhat.
