    Hi,

have the NCT this coming wednesday and I'd say my car (mk4 Astra) should fly through.

The only thing is I dont have a spare wheel in it. Its currently on the original 15 inch steel wheels as Im refurbing alloys.

I read somewhere that cars dont require a spare unless its a taxi and that if there isn't one they will just check the mounting and so on.

How correct is the above? :D

Have heard from some people that some testers dont even bother looking.

    Thanks for replies.

I'm pretty sure if its meant to have a spare wheel,it should have one for the NCT.

Just borrow one for the test?

Spare wheel isn't required for the test for a private car, but is required for a psv car. You'll have no problem turning up without one.

Don't need one for a spsv car either these days, they're just tested like a normal car since January
